AP Logic is looking for a Web Application Engineer. AP Logic works with small to medium-sized businesses and public-sector agencies on custom web-applications and back office systems.
As a Web Application Engineer, your primary tasks will be:
- Collaborate in a team environment with project architects, customers, and user interface designers
- Code new web applications, primarily using the Microsoft.NET framework
- This position will have the option of entering one of two growth-tracks with our company:
- Upgrade and support our growing application service provider model for niche markets, based on evolving customer requirements
- Work as an engineering leader on individual custom applications, approximately 6-8 months each in duration
- Integrate 3rd-party components such as payment gateways, outside web services data providers, etc
- Maintain project timelines through time and compromise with other team members to meet time line requirements
Qualified candidates will have:
- 2+ years experience working in .NET 2.0, ASP.NET, C# Winforms, SQL
- Experience developing in VS2003 and later environments
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
Pluses:
- Experience in eCommerce catalogs with real-time product data and inventory challenges
- MS-SQL DB experience
- Load-testing experience
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and desire to develop & test
- AJAX experience
- BS in Software Engineering or similar degree
